Who's up for meeting up somewhere for a few beers before this one then? Any suggestions for away friendly pubs within walking distance of the ground and/or train station?

Great meeting you all last night. Really enjoyed your company.
Ok, Derby, I'm looking at a place near the ground. Last time they rejected Cardiff fans but I'm hoping to talk ot the manager tomorrow. Its a place I can take my girls and hopefully they will allow the likes of us guys in. Leave it with me and I'll get back to you all tomoorrow.

You too Ian. That sounds like a plan, yeah let us know asap, cheers!
Oh and if anyone roughly between Middlesbrough and Derby wants a lift down I've decided to drive down instead of the train. I'll be picking Steve up near Wakefield but there's still 2 spaces in the car, would make it nice and cheap if the petrol was split between 3/4 people.

Dudders is back in South Wales so coming up on the coach Saturday.
I know how to spot him for sure now though.
So, it looks like just thee and me by car at the moment.
Andy not making? I think you already said he's not.
Ok guys I have a place. Its about 5 minutes walk from the ground, perhaps shorter. Its a family pub restuarant and very nice. They accept away supporters and if there is a space you can keep your car there. They will also have a doorman and I have been informed there is never any trouble. The place is called Pride Park and its an Innskeeper place, a bit like a Harvestor.
If you are interested what I recommend you do is come straight to my home. I'm just off the M1 Junction 24A. Meet up with me and the Bluebird Haven lot and we can have a convoy to the place. Dont worry though if there is no parking there as I have arranged an alternative place to park. This alternative is about 5 minutes walk to the Pride Park pub. So we are sorted.

Nice work! PM or email me some directions to your house Ian and we'll be there. Also let me know what time to be there and we'll try and make it for then.
Haven't heard from Andy so doesn't look as though he'll make it. My old man still can't be persuaded to come along, my mate who was coming has dropped out and my uncle spent up last weekend so he can't make it now either.
Dudders won't be carrying a big inflatable sheep will he? That'd be baa'd.
I'll get me coat...

Hope everyone who made it to Derby had a great day. It would have been perfect with 3 points, reckon it was there for the taking. Great atmosphere made by us supporters again, what terrific stuff we give.
Hope you guys got back safely.

Got back fine thanks Great atmosphere as always! It was there for the taking but our lack of firepower up front again let us down. To be fair to Derby they were fairly difficult to break down, especially in the first half but the more it went on the more we looked likely to grab a winner but it wasn't to be. Still a point at Derby is a very good point considering they were on a bit of a high after two good results.
