Oh come on guys, one of us had to start a Wembley thread.
Travelling by train from the North East should be fun. A few of us get on the Kings Cross train at Newcastle, Darlo and York then at Doncaster 20,000 Barnsley try to get on.

Sounds like a plan, we'll be on at Darlington then. Anyone else going down there on the train?

Just a question lads, how on earth will you manage to get tickets? Or are you season ticket holders?
I cannot afford to buy a ST but I go and watch everytime I'm back in Cardiff, last time was Ipswich 1-0, great goal but a dodgy start with Alan Lee hitting the bar within seconds.
Regards.
Tony.

Teesside Blue should be OK as an away travel member but I'm banking on not quite as many people wanting tickets as the initial hype suggests. Failing that I have a number of options:
1. Rely on the charitable nature of someone with 2 tickets
2. eBay
3. Tout
4. Watching on TV in a pub within earshot of Wembley

Yeah I should get a ticket with my membership ok. Anyone without a membership or a ticket stub from the Hull game will have to rely on an ambassador or season ticket holder getting them a ticket.
Looks as though driving to Wembley and having a night over might be an easier option than the trains. Apparently a return from Darlo to Kings Cross is going to be the best part of £100

That sounds good mate, but does it run on the Sunday aswell as our semi is on the Sunday. If so that'd be a good cheap way for me to do it. If we were to win I might not make the return journey though

Hi all,
Great idea for the website Teesside.
My name's Chris and I'm living in Newcastle at the moment.
Anyone going on the train on Sunday? We should all meet up!

Hi Chris, thanks and welcome
My old man (TeesWarrior) has priced up the coach today and we can go from Middlesbrough to London for £29 return each. Leaving midnight Saturday night to arrive at 6am on the Sunday and then leaving London around 9am on the Monday morning. Sounds like the best option for me as I don't want to be straight there and back, especially if we win.

Our one from Middlesbrough goes via York and Doncaster, leaving at 12.15am Sunday morning, getting into London Victoria at 6.10am.
However there is one going from Leeds which leaves at 12.10am and that arrives in London Victoria 10 minutes after us at 6.20am
It's easy enough to book tickets online and the fares seem very reasonable, probably a lot cheaper than the train.
