First Game of seasonEvening All,
After what can only be described as a pre-season of turmoil with transfer dealings going astray combined with an Ego-Driven Chairman motivated by his salary there is less than 3 weeks to go until the new season.
I dont know about anybody else but I am planning on going to the 1st game down at NP so am looking to see if anybody else fancies a trip down south. If i can get a few people interested then I dont mind driving and splitting petrol costs.
Let us know the sooner the better if interested as I will have to buy a cheap train ticket if not.

I'm very tempted to take you up on that Matt. Are you just going for the game and straight back up north again afterwards?

That suits me fine dude, saves me money! My Dad doesn't fancy it with it being all in one day, he's getting a bit too old to be travelling for 12+ hours in a day Is anyone else going yet to help split the fuel costs?

Hi Steve,
Apologies for not responding but having internet issues. Yes I am still driving on saturday and more than happy for you and your daughter to grab a lift with us.
Will be leaving leeds around 9ish and can pick you up on the way. Please give me a call on 07947 210992 and we can go from there.
Hopefully I have caught you in time before giving the tickets away.

What a day. Big thanks to Steve for driving myself and Matt there and back on the day, the conditons were awful, didn't envy you having to drive in that! Also thanks to Matt for the hospitality on Friday and Saturday night, much appreciated mate
I was on the Bob Bank Terrace and despite my uncle buying me a pound poncho (Cheers Dave), was soaked to the skin and chilled to the bone! Halfway through the second half I had the bright idea of putting the hood on my poncho up, I didn't realise it had filled with water so that went straight down the back of my neck and made me even wetter and colder Those last minute winners make it all worthwhile though don't they?
Hopefully we'll have another 3 points at Donny this weekend and also have the conditions to make it a fun day out aswell!
